Soy Wax CandlesSituated near the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and on the corner of Narragansett Bay, our Rhode Island headquarters for Ocean Bay Candle Company began operation in 2002. Having a parent company already in production in a specialized market allowed us to take our time opening our doors for Ocean Bay and develop a candle of only the highest quality. Using our own ideas of soy wax candles and those of the consumers during test groups, we were able to focus on making a candle that would not only look good in any home, but, once burned, would also fill the home with a fragrance that is just perfect.Ocean Bay Candle Company is among some larger and smaller manufacturers of scented soy wax candles, yet, we have an advantage. We are large enough that we have the ability to use only the best products in our candles, while also being small enough to be certain that each soy wax candle that goes out our door, has the quality you are looking for as a consumer. There are too many manufacturers that make claims of having the best fragrances in their candles, or the cleanest burn. When we began testing, we had these ‘claims’ in mind and sought to create a candle that burned and was scented the way the consumers would expect; with no sooting, a nice clean look, an even burn, and a candle that is scented throughout. After years of testing we are proud to say that we have achieved these goals in all of our candles. We always welcome new ideas on how to make our soy wax candles better or different.
